Our typical day starts at 6am with a morning bathroom break for each dog before each dog gets individual walks and playtime. Breakfast is served in your dogs private kennel. After breakfast has settled, dogs will either enjoy group or individual turnout for a few hours. Afternoon naps are in their private kennel. Don't worry, our whole barn is climate controlled with heat during the winter and a/c during the summer. Your dog will always be comfortable. After our afternoon downtime, we get back outside with group turnout or individual turnout for more play time! Once evening comes, we start settling down with dinner followed by a bathroom walk, a quick game of tug or fetch, and evening cuddles before 9pm bedtime.
We are a private residence, we are only open by appointment between the hours of 7am and 6pm.
Please bring enough food for the dogs entire stay. We feed twice a day, but can accommodate special needs. We prefer individual portions. We can feed food needing refrigeration as well - such as Farmer's Dog or Fresh Pet. If you'd like to provide a toy or blankets or bedding for in kennel use, you may. Be aware even a dog that has never been destructive before may become so. We cannot guarantee toys and bedding will be returned in the shape they came to us.
Yes, we require all pets to be up to date on their vaccinations for their safety and the safety of other pets in our care. We require Bordetella (kennel cough), Rabies, DHPP (Distemper, Hepatitis, Parainfluenza, Parvovirus) Vaccines. Vaccines are required to be given a minimum of 10 days before boarding. As well as the dog to be licensed.
Two larger kennels are 4x8, and three smaller kennels are 4x6.
Each kennel has a raised dog bed.
We have 4 different turn out areas.
Our largest is 14,000 sq ft.
Our smallest is 600 sq ft.
We go outside in all kinds of weather. However, during really bad weather such as thunderstorms - we play inside! There is plenty of room inside the barn for some fetch or tug and play time.
Dogs must be over four months old and completed all shots before being able to be boarded or attend daycare. We do not restrict breeds, but daycare dogs must be dog friendly. Females over 6 months old must be spayed, and no dogs in heat are allowed. Intact males may be allowed with a meet and greet.
